Sandra Ndemanga Wamulume
Managing Partner
Sandra is the managing partner of NMA with 21 years’ experience in private practice with an in-depth knowledge of, commercial transactions, Banking and Finance law. Sandra headed the legal department of the Zambia National Commercial Bank, the largest Zambian owned bank, advising senior management and the Board of Directors on various legal matters. Sandra has successfully brokered several syndicated loans, has resolved complex commercial transactions and has handled domestic and cross-border finance ransactions.
Sandra is a qualified member of the Chartered Governance Institute and a qualified legislative drafter and is a holder of a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance Law from the University of London.
Angela Mwalula
Partner
Angela is a Partner in NMA with 18 years experience in
Commercial Litigation, company law, contract law and employment law. Angela was Litigation Head of the
Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc, one of Zambia’s leading Bank and was instrumental in the successful
delivery of judgements in complex litigation cases for and against the Bank. Angela is a Young African Leaders Initiative scholarship recipient and a holder of a Master’s Degree in International Trade and Commercial Law from the University of Essex.
Mazuba Mwale
Associate Advocate
Mazuba currently serves as Associate Advocate in the Firm and attained her Bachelor of Laws Degree (with Credit) and Masters in Law-Human Rights from the University of Lusaka and is an Advocate of the High Court for Zambia being a First Attempt graduate of the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Learning (ZIALE). She is a self-driven individual whose interest includes Corporate Transactions, Family Disputes and Human Rights Law. She also currently holds a Certificate in Legal Drafting, Research and Analysis having completed the DLA Piper trainings in conjunction with ZIALE. She currently serves as an Associate specialized in Mortgage Actions, Conveyancing, Commercial and Corporate Transactions, Labour Relations and Litigation.
Towela Gumbo
Associate Advocate
Towela currently serves as Associate Advocate in the Firm and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (with Merit) from Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha, South Africa. She is also a First Attempt graduate of the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE) from 2023/2024 intake. A proactive and dedicated learner, Towela has a strong interest in Human Rights Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, Taxation as well as Banking and Finance. She combines her legal acumen with a deep passion for social impact, actively advocating for sustainable development, social justice and social change. Her commitment to community empowerment is reflected in the various leadership roles she has held in her community. Towela currently specializes in Commercial and Corporate Transactions, Litigation and Mortgage Actions.
Michelle Samboko
Associate Advocate
Michelle is an Associate Advocate at the Firm. She attained her Bachelor of Laws Degree (with Credit) from the University of Lusaka and is an Advocate of the High Court for Zambia, having been admitted to the Bar in November 2023. Michelle has a particular interest in proactive dispute management and alternative dispute resolution, with a focus on helping clients resolve conflicts efficiently and minimise the risk of protracted litigation. She completed the DLA Piper New Perimeter Programme in Legal Drafting and Negotiation Skills in collaboration with the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE), General Electric and Chibesakunda & Co. Advocates, and has also completed professional training in Conflict Management and Resolution. Michelle’s practice focuses on Commercial Transactions, Litigation, Conveyancing, and Probate and Administration of Estates.
Emmanuel Matanda
Trainee Advocate
Emmanuel currently serves as Trainee advocate in the Firm. He graduated from Copperbelt University with a Bachelor of Laws degree (with Distinction) and is currently enrolled at the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE). Emmanuel has a broad legal interest, including human rights, commercial and corporate law, conveyancing, environmental law, and mining law. He is a committed team member focused on delivering high-quality services. He has a keen interest in jurisprudence and has participated in several high court matters, delivering quality outcomes with dedication and professionalism.
Jacob Mukeba
Trainee Advocate
Jacob currently serves as Trainee Advocate in the Firm. He graduated from Mulungushi University with a Bachelor of Laws degree (with Merit). Jacob assists in a broad range of matters including corporate and commercial law, property transactions, and dispute resolution. He supports senior advocates with legal research, drafting of legal opinions and court documents, and client advisory. Jacob is committed to developing practical legal skills and delivering high-quality legal support to clients.

Lister is in charge of the firms Administration and client care. She is a qualified Front Office Operator and a proficient in Customer Service. Lister oversees the firm’s procurement, proper office management and general office management. She is dedicated to enhancing

Mathews Prior to joining the firm, Mathews was a legal clerk of the Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc for over 23 years. Mathews is a valuable member of our firm, overseeing the timely registration of security
